On day 2, visit the Colombo Fort and its former entrance Kayman’s Gate. Next, explore the Colombo National Museum, which displays the cultural heritage of many centuries. Visit the magical Kelaniya temple at night to absorb its tranquillity and proceed to Bentota for a relaxing overnight stay.

The day begins with a trip to the Turtle Hatchery, a conservation project to protect the remaining turtle population, which are considered an endangered species on the island. Take a breathtaking boat safari in the Madu River. Stay overnight in Bentota.
